Firehouse Chicago

Once home to Chicago’s Fire Company No. 70, Firehouse Chicago in Edgewater has been transformed into a charming and intimate venue for small weddings and special events. A beautiful garden patio serves as the perfect place for an outdoor wedding ceremony in the summer, followed by cocktails and relaxed conversation.

Inside, the old converted firehouse is an inviting dinner and dancing venue that can accommodate about 80 diners — more for a standing cocktail-style reception. It has its own rustic bar, an old-fashioned winding staircase to an upstairs wedding party preparation room (the old firefighters’ kitchen), and even an old fire pole and many pictures if the brave firefighters who ince served at this historic station.

Preferred caterers and other vendors will assure that you and your guests will be treated like royalty, and everyone will go home with treasured memories of a wonderful party experience.

Here are a couple of Knot reviews of recent weddings Fourth Estate Audio performed at Firehouse Chicago:

Jay Congdon and Fourth Estate Audio was hands down one of our favorite vendors to work with! From the first meeting to the wedding day, Jay was nothing but professional. He was very easy to communicate with and he even had a personal online portal setup for us where we could submit payments, check our balance, and choose specific songs/genres. The one thing that we really liked about Fourth Estate Audio was that we could create our own custom playlist and have our favorite hits played on our special day. Last but not least, Jay has top notch equipment! His speakers were crystal clear both inside and outside our venue. He truly helped make our day fun and memorable!
