How to Use the Fourth Estate Audio Playlist

Print this page first if you want to jump right to the playlist.

IMPORTANT! Please limit your request list to no more than 60 songs, or about one page of text. That's about 3 and a half hours of dance music - plenty for most parties. Leave room for some requests from your guests. If you send 7 pages of songs, we'll keep only the first page. So be selective. Thank you.

1. Start at the "Create Your Request List" page. Scroll down, and when you see a song you want, click the artist's name next to it, to add it to your request list.

2. When you've finished selecting all of your favorites, scroll up and click on the link that reads "click here to send your playlist to us."

3. Fill in your name, e-mail address, phone number and party date. In the big window, you can add any special instructions, include songs you want but didn't find, and tell us which songs you want us NOT to play. You must type something in this window, even if it's just an "X." Otherwise, your playlist won't be transmitted to us.

4. Click "send the playlist," and you're done. You'll see a confirmation that says "Your playlist has been sent." Your request list will be merged with the info you just typed, and e-mailed to Fourth Estate Audio.

If you want to get fancy, you may choose to view only our Latin, Country, or Urban music collections, or our songs from certain years. Just look for the link that reads "Click here to sort the song list by year or by music type."

To see which songs you've already chosen, just scroll to the top of the "Create Your Request List" page. You can delete a song if you decide you don't really want it.

Important: Your entire request list must be compiled on a single computer. If you're having a party in which several people will help you choose the music (e.g., a class reunion), DO NOT have each of them submit a separate list to us. Your DJ can't function effectively if he's working off a dozen different lists. The only one we'll accept is the one with your name on it.

Don't worry if you can't select all of your music in one session. When you return to your computer, your list should still be there, ready to be updated at your convenience.
