For more than half a century the White Eagle in Niles has been a favorite Chicagoland venue for everything from the most intimate wedding to the most extravagant trade show. With banquet rooms and salons that accommodate anywhere from 40 to 2,000 guests, the White Eagle will never be “too big” or “too small” for your special event.
Stylish appointments, elegant crystal chandeliers and excellent cuisine that spans American, Polish, Italian and Greek fare are all familiar hallmarks of this popular venue. Many brides and grooms choose to hold their ceremonies as well as their receptions here. There’s even a game room to keep your youngest guests occupied while the adults celebrate grown-up style.
The pictures below were taken in the Althea Room, one of the White Eagle’s smaller banquet rooms. Our bride and groom hired a wonderful Mariachi band for dinner music, set up a great candy table, and even brought in late-night snacks like pizza as the party stretched beyond midnight.
And the reception featured plenty of great Mexican wedding traditions like the Dollar Dance and an authentic Conga. Of course, what Mexican wedding would be complete without the ultimate line dance, “Payaso Rodeo” (“Rodeo Clown”).
White Eagle went all out to make this a very special night for a very special couple and their families and friends.
